The Institute for Justice seeks a Senior Researcher to join its Strategic Research program. The Senior Researcher will conduct high-quality original research to inform public policy debates on the Institute’s core issues: property rights, economic liberty, free speech and school choice. This new position offers an entrepreneurial researcher the opportunity to combine research with IJ’s cutting-edge constitutional litigation to make a real-world impact securing individual liberty. A terminal degree in a social science discipline required, as is a commitment to free markets and individual liberty. Applicants should have expertise in statistics and social science methodology, as well as experience conceptualizing, implementing and writing significant original research, experience with large datasets, and proficiency with research software. Strong editing skills and the ability to write clearly for a general audience are essential.
